SHOWING COORDINATOR

​

We are currently seeking a responsible, enthusiastic, and driven real estate student to join our team on a part time basis to assist in our company’s continued growth. Job responsibilities will include the following:

​

Apartment Showings

​

• Manage and schedule all inbound inquiries related to apartment showings on over 60 apartment units in the heart of Madison’s downtown campus.

• Conduct apartment showings with prospective tenants and create/execute follow up activities post showings.

• Manage the tenant lifecycle from tenant showings to onboarding activities in our tenant management system. Includes lease signing, collecting lease supporting documentation, setting up recurring rent payments, etc.

Tenant Correspondence

​

• Act as the first line of defense to responding to inbound tenant requests based on a set of company work instructions.

• As tenant requests arise, learn to coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors for work performed at properties.

GROUNDS KEEPER / MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

​

43 North Apartments is seeking a Property Maintenance Technician to assist with the upkeep and appearance of our residential properties. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in maintaining clean and functional properties, and can handle a variety of maintenance tasks.

​

Responsibilities:

​

• General property cleaning, including snow removal, trash pickup, and power washing

• Exterior maintenance, such as window cleaning and ensuring common areas remain presentable

• Landscaping duties, including mulching, weeding, spraying, edging, and mowing

• Trash management, including taking trash cans to the curb for pickup

• Interior and exterior painting (up to 15 feet on a ladder)

• Installing and repairing blinds, storm/screens, and minor fixtures

• Replacing light bulbs and fixing garbage disposals

• Caulking interior and exterior items as needed

• Unclogging drains and assisting with minor plumbing issues

• Assisting the Senior Maintenance Technician with repairs and unit preparations

• Responding to lockouts and ensuring property security measures are maintained

• Performing routine pest control, such as replacing bait stations on a scheduled basis

• Conducting apartment unit inspections to identify maintenance needs

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in property maintenance, handyman work, or landscaping is preferred

• Ability to use basic tools and safely operate a ladder (up to 15 feet)

• Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

• Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team
